WHAT IS CATHOLICISM?
Catholicism is a Christian faith distinguished by a specific set of beliefs and behaviors. The precise date of the beginning of Catholism is indeterminable. Catholicism ad Christianity are pretty similar;all Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics. Many scholars recognize a variety of significant institutional, and cultural markers in this develpoment. 

CATHOLIC CHURCH IN UK
Catholic people believe in God. In the UK, Christianity and the religious settlement emerged in 1st and 2nd centuries during the  the reign of Elizabeth I. The only part of UK that includes Catholic church is the Republic of Ireland.


There are 1.2 billion Roman Catholics in the world. 
Catholic belief in Deity , Trinity of the Father (God), the Son (Christ), and the Holy Spirit that comprises one God Almighty. 
Some people became catholic because of their country’s culture, or because somehow they felt more close to God through his church. The holy spirit led them here to this religion, after they had road many books about other religion.




CATHOLIC PRACTICES
Chaplaincy team is ecumenical and Roman Catholic members include a priest, a deacon, two religious sisters and several lay assistant. Priests from the local parishes provide cover when the main Catholic chaplain, (who is also ta parish priest).
 Mass is offered each Monday  in the chapel off the main concourse.

SEXUALITY AND GENDER ISSUES
The Church teaches that sexual intercourse should only take place between a married man and woman. 
MUSIC
Example of catholic music in UK:

Catholic music is usually very slow and calm. The instrument which is mostly used for this kind of music is the violin and sometimes the piano.
